Good Times, Hard Times
"Good Times, Hard Times" was a one-day solo painting show curated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The works showcased were created during the Gabriel’s first year and a half living in Brooklyn, NY. The work often embodies a sense of duality. It explored the contrast of moving to Brooklyn after relocating from Georgia. The title, "Hard Times," was intentionally chosen to convey a sense of struggle rather than negativity, emphasizing the hardship of the experience rather than portraying it as entirely "bad." The show also marked a special moment, bringing together many of the friends the artist had made during the first few years in Brooklyn
